AFAIK Google ships plain Android, whereas most other mobile manufacturers ship a modified Android, e.g. different look and feel, but also some changes in functionality. As I'm not familiar with Samsung I don't know where you may find further information.

Hast Du da auch die Files für die GT+ gesehen? Bei der ist die Aufnahme ja etwas anders.

Nope, the phone is not connected to the bike. I've got a Google Pixel phone on the latest firmware, but I couldn't get the phone to connect to the WiFi AND the cellular, and that's why I didn't even try Garmin Motorize. I was using Calimoto on My old bike and still am happy with it.
Samsung phones are reported to allow for simultaneous connection here in the forum. FWIU they ship a modified Android firmware which allows for that. YMMV.

Well, given that the windscreen holder is attached to the frame of the bike with a bit of flexibility the holder does bounce a bit. I didn't notice vibrations, but the bouncing took me a while to get used to it.

ich habe mein Handy-Navi mit den SP-Connect Halter unterhalb vom Display montiert, das gibt freien Ausblick durch die Scheibe
Hatte ich auch, war mir aber zu tief unten - so wie oben beschrieben hab ich jetzt kaum Sichtfeldverlust, aber das querliegende Handy (und damit das Navi) ist stets im Blick.

Ich hab 'nen 3D-gedruckten Navihalter am Scheibenträger, an dem ich 'nen Brake Mount von SP-Connect sowie das induktive Ladeteil von denen installiert habe. Strom hab ich am Nebenverbraucher-Anschluß unter der Verkleidung vorne links abgegriffen, sodaß der abgesichert und geschaltet ist.
Ist sicher nicht die günstigste Lösung, aber da ich Calimoto statt der Garmin App nutze und das Navi gern direkt im Blickfeld habe war das so für mich die passendste Variante.

Ich hab für meine GT+ gesucht und festgestellt, daß die in irgendeinem Thread hier empfohlenen Adapter Yamaha <-> Standard-Stecker nicht paßten. Am besten mal im Handbuch nachgucken, wo der Stecker an Deiner ist (bei mir unterm Sozius-Brötchen), angucken und dann eBay nach "ODB2 Adapter Yamaha" oder so flöhen, bis Dir der passende vor die Flinte kommt.
Auf die Weise hab ich 'nen günstigen Standard ODB2-Bluetooth-Adapter angeschlossen bekommen und via App auf dem Handy auslesen können.
